A 26 year old female presents with a
history of repeated “blackouts” of 6 months duration.
She says she feels a strange sensation
coming over her sometimes accompanied by a odd taste in her mouth. She then
becomes unconscious and wakes up feeling drowsy. On one occasion she was
unable to move her right arm for about half an hour after regaining
consciousness.
Twice she has noticed that her tongue
felt sore after the episode.
On clinical examination she was
conscious and well oriented. The nervous system was normal on examination her
pulse was 80 beats per minute regular BP120/70 heart sounds were normal there
were no murmurs , lungs were clear and her abdomen was normal .
In this patient which one of the
