A 24 year old female presents with a lump in her neck. There are no other symptoms.

She has no previous history of note and she is not on any medication. Clinical examination reveals a solitary nodule in her thyroid gland and cervical lymphadenopathy.

Investigations

Hb 13.5 g/dL

WBC 7.5 x109/L

Platelets 350

ESR 8 mm in 1^st hour

TSH 4 mU/L
