1-the newer generation like olanzapine is more effective on negative symptoms of schizophrenia
2-in general, no one drug is superior in efficacy over the others
3-extrapyramidal features are uncommon in those antipsychotics with prominent anticholinergic side effects like thioridazine
4-may be used in the control of acute mania
5-some may be used in the control of nocturnal enuresis
