A 56 year old male presents
with a history of nocturnal cough. The cough disturbs sleep waking him up a
short while after retiring to bed. It is a dry cough and there is no
accompanying wheeze. No significant past medical history and the patient has
not been on any drugs. Clinical examination is unremarkable, routine
haematology and biochemistry tests are normal and chest X-ray is clear.
